Aircraft Hangars

What would a steel building company be without options for aircraft hangars?  Ohana Steel Buildings offers many different versions of aircraft hangars.  The difficult part of any hangar:  the door.

We offer two types of upward lifting doors for aircraft hangars: 

Bi-fold doors, which fold in two in the center, horizontally.  These doors require an additional 2 1/2 feet of room above the door opening to allow room for clearance and hydraulic boxes. 

Hydraulic doors, which lift completely external to the building, and require no additional room above the door opening.  However, these doors swing completely outside of the building.  This requires ample clearance on your property and orientation for the hangar must be such that the door can open fully. 

Bi-fold and single piece hydraulic doors.  Please keep in mind, these doors are SOLID.  Shipping these doors to rural and difficult areas may not be an option, depending on your jobsite.  Please contact us for specific questions.  For additional information on the doors, please see information on our garage doors.

All proposals including these doors are very specific.  If you request a specific aircraft clearance height and/or door width, please make sure that information is known on your quote request form.  Because of the size of these doors, we may have to make your building larger to engineer support for the door.  However, the proposal for aircraft hangars, as all our proposals, include shipping of all materials to your jobsite.
